Join us for the Mortgages and Open Finance Policy Sprint hosted by FCA Innovation's Smart Data Accelerator. The policy sprint will take place at our the FCA offices, 12 Endeavour Square, London, E20 1JN on Monday 8 and Tuesday, 9 June 2026.
This two-day initiative will explore how open finance can improve consumer outcomes across the mortgage lifecycle, and the policy, regulatory and market conditions needed to support those benefits in practice. We welcome applications from stakeholders with relevant expertise across mortgages, property, consumer journeys, data, technology, research, policy and regulation

Participants will focus on the following challenge:
What policy, regulatory and ecosystem conditions need to be established for open finance to be deployed in a way that meaningfully improves consumer outcomes across the mortgage lifecycle?
